What is PBIS?
PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, a school-wide framework for creating a positive, predictable, and safe learning environment by teaching and reinforcing appropriate behaviors. It is a proactive approach that focuses on prevention rather than punishment, using data to guide decisions and improve student behavior and academic success.
